vivo announced that it will unveil a couple of new smartphones tomorrow – October 19 – as part of the T1 series. The teaser itself shows a phone with a triple camera and a top-mounted headphone jack.
Popular insider Digital Chat Station on Weibo has a bit more information on the pair. The vivo T1 will reportedly use a high-refresh rate IPS LCD and a Snapdragon 778G chipset. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have a 64MP main camera.
Looking at its images, the vivo T1 is a doppelganger of the iQOO Z5, so we're expecting a 6.67-inch 1080p 120Hz display, 8GB or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Charging speed should be 44W.
Digital Chat Station also says the vivo T1x will use a Dimensity 900 chip and carry the same battery and camera. This phone looks a spitting image of the iQOO Z3, which points to a 6.58-inch 120Hz IPS LCD and a 4,400mAh battery. RAM is either 6GB, 8GB or 12GB and storage starts at 128GB and ends at 256GB. Charging is even faster at 55W.
We'll see whether the T1 and T1x really match the iQOO Z5 and Z3 tomorrow when vivo discloses the full details.
