macos – Website can’t be reached in terminal or chrome, however may be reached in Edge (Chromium) or Safari, or on different customers

While trying to access a page in Chrome (Stable), the connection times out. The same happens during a ping/traceroute in a terminal window.

Strangely, though, the site will load absolutely fine in Edge (Stable, Chromium-based version) or in Safari (private relay is disabled), or in any browser as another user on the device.

Another weird finding is that the site will load absolutely fine when using a Wireguard VPN in any browser. It's just on my normal network, using Chrome, that it doesn't load.

Does anybody have suggestions on how to fix this? I have already tried a clean reinstall of Chrome (used AppCleaner), but I do not want to reinstall macOS just for one site to load.

Note: For privacy-related reasons, I will not share the URL.

Device: MacBook Pro 16" (2019, i9 2.3GHz, 1TB, 16GB)

DNS: /

OS: 12.0.1 (21A558)

Chrome Version: 94.0.4606.81
