DJI occasions web page creates straightforward approach to discover real-life drone meetups

In case you missed it, there’s a handy DJI events page out there on the Internet, and it’s a pretty swell resource to find upcoming drone events near you.

The page, while curated by DJI Enterprise, doesn’t just display DJI-sponsored events. Rather, it displays events that have some connection to DJI — an employee is speaking there, the company is displaying products there, or it’s a training session that ties into DJI drones. And it’s shaping up to be a solid resource to find events near you.

Especially since the COVID-19 pandemic made it difficult to meet up with fellow dronies in person, the new DJI events page comes as a welcome resource to find all the events that you can attend to make up for lost time.

The page has robust filter features that allow you to search events by industry, region and even language. For people who still prefer in-person events (or who quite simply just can’t realistically part with the time or money needed to travel to such events), there’s also a filter for virtual events. The website also displays whether the event is organized by DJI or a DJI Partner.

Robust filters make it simple to find events near you, in your language of choice, and centered around your industry.

At press time, events posted included the recently-passed AUVSI Xponential 2022 in Orlando, Florida, the Intersolar conference in Germany, and GEO Business 2022 in London.

Of course, it’s certainly not a comprehensive list of every single drone event out there. After all, some of the most delightful drone events are local fly days or drone races — and this page is clearly targeted at commercial users looking to attend enterprise-minded events that can aid in certifications, networking or commercial drone training.

But it’s a good one to bookmark, especially for drone business owners looking for events to attend — or perhaps an excuse to make a vacation that can serve in part as a tax deduction (if you qualify, of course).
