pSemi expands it RF SOI portfolio with a SP4T RF switch die for wideband and high-frequency applications up to 67 GHz. The PE42545 reflective switch provides low insertion loss, fast switching time, and high isolation for 5G mmWave systems, as well as test and measurement, microwave backhaul, radar, and satellite communication applications.
Key specifications for the PE42545 include a frequency range of 9 kHz to 67 GHz, insertion loss of 2.2 dB at 45 GHz, and switching time of 60 ns. It also delivers high port-to-port isolation of 30 dB and input linearity of 33 dBm at the 1-dB compression point (P1dB). The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is supplied in a flip-chip die package.
With the introduction of the PE42545, along with two other RF switches, pSemi now offers a family of mmWave SPDT and SP4T devices to help designers simplify layouts and improve overall system efficiency. Like the PE42545 SP4T switch, the PE42525 SPDT switch is available in a flip-chip die, but operates from 9 kHz to 60 GHz. Housed in a small 3×3-mm LGA package, the PE42546 SP4T switch spans a frequency range of 9 kHz to 45 GHz.
